The transition from summer break to the start of a new school year can be an exciting yet challenging time for students and their families. In a collaborative effort to provide assistance to Durham's Latino community, Univision, El Centro Hispano, and Durham Parks and Recreation have joined forces to organize an exceptional Back to School event. Designed to provide essential resources and support, this event promises to empower the community while fostering a positive start to the academic year. Scheduled to take place at Durham Central Park on July 30th from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., this celebration will feature free school supplies, vision tests, entertainment, literature, and much more.
