Our program offers the perfect balance of academic support, creative activities, and physical movement in a structured and supervised setting. Whether your child needs help with homework, enjoys expressing themselves through arts and crafts, or loves getting active, DPR’s After School program provides it all—and more.

Year-Round Calendar Students: July 21, 2025 – June 9, 2026
Traditional Calendar Students: August 25, 2025 – June 9, 2026

Transportation
Durham Parks and Recreation provides no cost, safe and reliable transportation for some of our After School programs! Our talented transportation staff picks up participants from several Durham Public School locations and transports them to our Recreation Centers located throughout the City. Transportation is free from the listed schools with registration in the after school program. If your school is not listed please contact transportation at your child’s school for routes going to a DPR location or to inquire about a new route to an After School location!
